'Killer Klowns From Outer Space' Event Flyer

Flier design for "El Club del Horror Córdoba" — created for an upcoming horror-themed event featuring a screening of Killer Klowns From Outer Space.
I applied Threshold and Noise effects to a still from the film to give it a gritty, retro aesthetic, then refined the pixel details in Aseprite. I consider the flier itself a kind of collage, combining various techniques and visual elements. I also vectorized a classic harlequin illustration from a playing card, as well as a UFO image I found on Google — even though it was originally a vector, I had to manually re-vectorize it since I only had access to a PNG version. The layout and typography were designed in Illustrator, and final enhancements were made in Photoshop using Smart Objects for a more fluid, non-destructive workflow.
I tried to follow the brutalist and grunge aesthetics as much as possible.
