'Mariposa Noctámbula' Logo

Logo for a ceramic local artistic project and workshop.
The idea was to create a mix of "cute" but "darkie" imagery using the pink moth head as a reference.
I modified the "Tropi Land" typography adding harder edges, spirals and insect-like details to make the title more "wacky". Combined with the original font "groovie" vibes, it creates a very dynamic new result.
The original version, made in 2023, tried to resemble a black metal album aesthetic, specially in its lettering.
Used Aseprite to make the original sketch and the animation cycle.
Used Photoshop for the Noise and Motion Blur effects on the color static version.
